We have recently done a lot of tasting of new wines and from that, added several really special reds and whites. We are fortunate that one of the winemakers of these new wines, Carolina Bistué, will be visiting us tonight at Brasserie V. Carolina is a Partner at Wine Bridge Imports and is now heading the Bistué family's first winemaking project under the label Blackswift. Stop in for a glass of Blackswift, her beautiful red, with intense flavors from hand-picked Syrah and Grenache grapes, and talk with her about it while sipping.
Tonight, we will also be tapping two cool kegs you might want to stop in for:
Upland Darken Wild Ale - A cool sour from Indiana in the Oud Bruin style aged for up to 8 months in white oak barrels.
Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast - A fantastic oatmeal stout brewed with flaked oats, centennial and cascade hops, and gourmet coffee. Yum!
